Here are other ways to be involved:
Cookies - We need to make and deliver 500 dozen cookies to LCC by April 10-11. We have to follow an exact recipe that is prescribed by the prison. Baking instructions attached. Bring them to LCC between 9 am and 4:30 pm either day. Bring them fresh or freeze them after you bake them. Follow directions for baking and packing exactly as written. Download Cookie Recipe - April '12 These cookies (500 dozen total) rock the entire prison and actually touch these men deeply.
Cook Team- One of the things that draws the prisoners to the retreat is the promise of 'home made" food. Each meal is lovingly and prayerful made and delivered hot to the prison from a location in Ridgeland. Men and women are needed in shifts to cook Thursday night to Sunday noon. Every single man mentions the food as an unbelievable blessing. Help make that blessing!
