Let's Go To Belize!
May 12-19, 2012
Join us as we offer the people of Belize, SAFE water and LIVING water! We will team up with ROWKIDS and Water Missions Intl. to bring the Good News of Jesus' love and safe water to an entire area that has never before had clean water to drink. The polluted water that they drink makes them all sick and is responsible for countless deaths over the years. Through the wonder of a water filtration system designed by Water Missions International, we will improve the health of thousands of people.
We will focus our ministry on a school that is sponsored by ROWKIDS and will work with the teachers to help students learn about Jesus' love and compassion. We are able to add to this - education about safe water and basic hygiene. While part of the team is in the classroom, the rest of the team will be working with local people to build the building that will house the filtration system. Building skill is helpful, but not needed as much as the willingness to work hard. At most, we will be doing construction about half of the day and then spending the rest of our time loving kids and exploring the village with the message of SAFE water and LIVING water.
We are looking for people who love Jesus, kids, hard work and adventure. If you have more specific questions, contact John Eve (the Team Leader) at: john@rowkids.org (843-301-5949)
