Have a heart for the homeless?  Believe it or not there are homeless people in Beaufort County.  LCC has partnered with Family Promise of Beaufort County and other faith families to address the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors, homeless families with children.

Through Family Promise, resident are provided with housing in local churches at night, and daytime training and resource referral so that suitable, long term housing is obtained.  Family Promise is a nationwide nonprofit organization with local chapters and has been a successful model for years now.

Families move from church to church each week and there are daily volunteer opportunities.
